J&K bank offers different types of accounts and its benefits to its customers. The different accounts can be opened by the customers as per their requirements and funds that need to be transacted. Every account comes with different benefits and guidelines should be strictly followed by the account holders otherwise it leads to some penalty charges to the account holder.

There are different types of Savings accounts offered by the bank with different minimum balance requirement. So here are the details:

General savings account

The minimum balance required monthly to be maintained in the account is Rs 500 per month without Cheque book and if you need to Cheque book, then you have to maintain a quarterly balance of Rs 1000. If the Account holder is unable to maintain the minimum balance amount then a penalty of Rs 100 for it.

General Small Account

It is for the customers who want to deposit fewer amounts in the bank. The minimum initial deposit in this type of bank is Rs 50 and you need to maintain the same amount of the balance in the account too.

Deluxe Savings Account

In this type of saving account the customer needs to maintain an average quarterly balance of Rs 5000.If the Account holder is unable to maintain the minimum balance amount then a penalty of Rs 100 for it.

Student Savings Account

Initial deposit amount is Rs 50 and benefit of this account is that student need not maintain any minimum balance fund in the account. So no penalty feature exists for this account.

  1. i have maintain the account in jkb sagam of rs 900 since three months why you deduct rs86 in my account with out my consent

  2. Whenever I do transaction Or my account is credited Or debited bank cutted 44 rupees from my available balance at every transaction. I don’t know the reason behind this can any tell me
