Tamil Nad Mercantile Bank was established in the year 1921 and was initially known as Nadar Bank before the name was changed in the year 1962. The bank is headquartered at Tuticorin, Tamil Nadu. Currently, the bank has a network of 509 branches and 1094 ATMs all over the country. The bank did a total business of 541 billion rupees in 2016-17 and earned foreign exchange of Rs 28,411 crores in the same financial year. TamilNad Mercantile Bank won the Lokmat BFSI Best Private Sector Bank award for the year 2014-15.
