Register for the missed call service

Anyone who has a bank account in the Federal Bank is eligible for this facility. For using the missed call service for knowing the available balance in the bank account, you will need to register the mobile number and then it would be saved in the bank records.

For registering the number in the bank account, you will need to send an SMS on the number 9895088888. You will need to send ACTBAL<account number> to the given number for registration of the number for missed call facility. After a few minutes, you will receive a message after which you will need to send the confirmation message and the service will be started in some time.

Use the missed call facility

If you want to check the balance with the missed call service, then you can dial the number. 8431900900. After you have dialled the number, the call will be disconnected automatically after two or three rings. You will have to wait for a few seconds and you will receive the SMS from the bank which would include the last four digits of your bank account.

You can send the message from your registered mobile phone. The message would include the balance information of the four accounts in the bank which are cash credit, overdraft, current account and savings account. This is the easiest and the most convenient way to check the balance in the bank account. You won’t have to go the ATM for checking the balance in your account. Going to the ATM each time you want to check your balance is a kind of boring task. You won’t have to waste you time and money while going to the ATM for checking the balance in your account due to the new missed call facility.
