Chaitanya Godavari Grameena Bank Saving Account Minimum Balance Limit & Charges

This bank was formulated under the act of Regional Rural Banks 1976 emerging Chaitanya Grameena bank and Godavari Grameena Bank. This bank has partnership with the government of India. The head office of this bank is situated at Guntur.

The bank’s operation started from 1st March 2006. This bank is sponsored by Andhra Bank.

Savings bank account minimal balance limit

Nirbhya savings bank account

  • For rural areas, the balance with cheque book should be Rs.500 and without cheque book Rs.300.
  • For urban and semi urban areas minimum balance with cheque book is Rs.1000 and without cheque book Rs.500.

Nirbhaya gold savings bank account

  • For rural areas, the balance without cheque book should be Rs.300 and with cheque book Rs.500.
  • For urban and semi urban areas minimum balance without cheque book is Rs.500 and with cheque book facility is Rs.1000.
  • Minimum balance is Rs.1,500

Suraksha Savings Bank account

  • For rural areas, the balance without cheque book should be Rs.300 and with cheque book it should be Rs.500.
  • For urban and semi urban areas minimum balance without cheque book facility is Rs.500 and with cheque book facility is Rs.1000.

Suraksha Gold Savings bank Account

  • For rural areas, the minimum balance limit is Rs.500.
  • For semi urban and urban areas the minimum balance limit is Rs.1000.

These savings account schemes are introduced to develop the habit of saving and support the economic growth of various sections of the society.
